How do I see check-ins from my web portal?

How to view your current visitors without using the Onside app

From time to time you may need to see who is currently checked in to your property, but you don't have your phone handy to check via the Onside app, or you want a more detailed breakdown of your check-in records. Not to worry, you have two options;

The Onside Dashboard

When you first log in to your Onside account in the web portal, the first page you'll land on will be your Onside dashboard. From here you'll be able to see all of your properties geographically with the map view, as well as access your properties by clicking on them. This dashboard also comes with a host of other details which will make managing your account even easier.

Note: You must be a Property or Company Admin to have data in your dashboard.

By default, your dashboard will be set to show the last 30 days and 'My company' data, which will show the information related your own staff. Changing to 'My properties' will show all data relating to your properties. If you don't see your properties as options and you are an admin, click on your initials or profile picture in the top right of the page and see if you're logged in with the correct email and company. 

  • Check-ins - See all of your check-ins and arrivals in a graph view so you can quickly and easily identify trends
  • Check-in leaderboard - See who are your "Check-in Champions", the people checking in most frequently
  • Current check-ins - A real time view of who from your staff have checked-in/arrived (while in My company view) , or which of your properties currently have people on site (My properties view)
  • Risks - See which risks are currently unmanaged and pending
  • Incidents - See total number of incidents and unreviewed incidents
  • Team Locator - If you have a lone worker licence, you'll be able to quickly see how many staff are included, if they're on site somewhere, and if they're overdue
  • Upcoming tasks - Tasks coming up, ordered by most due.

Getting into the data

If you want more than just the overview of your dashboard information, clicking on the 'View all' or arrows on each card will take you to exactly that.

LeaderboardTake a look at the image to the right from the Leaderboard details page for example, you could view the data to show specifically your Managed properties, then show which companies are checking into your properties the most.

Alternatively, clicking on the Properties tab will show which of your sites get the most check-ins.

Follow through to the Check-ins page to get a full breakdown of visits past and present for your sites or your staff, as well as all information available.

Aside from the steps above, you can also click on the 'Check-ins' side menu item to access the check-in dashboard for your account.

At the top of the screen you can choose between 'My Company', for your own staff check-in data, or 'My properties', for all visits to the properties you manage in your account.

Choose between the 'Current' and 'History' toggle and specify your filters to get the data you need, and download the data whenever you need according to those filters.
