What is the Onside menu for?

A guide to what's in the sidemenu of the app

While exploring the Onside app, you may have noticed this icon.     Sidemenu

This is our sidebar menu. This is where we put functionality that isn't necessarily needed for your day-to-day use. Here's a guide to what each of the options does.

Edit - Change your company, update your profile details, and add documents to your profile.

Create Property - Create your properties directly in the app. Here's a step by step guide on it. There's still a couple of things you'll need to do via the web portal though.

Add Incident - Report incidents not connected to a property (such as in transit somewhere).

Share Onside - If you'd like others to know about Onside, you can share via any messaging app you have installed.

Get Help - This will take you to our Customer Help centre and chat. If there's something you want to know, simply search or ask the chat.

Give Feedback - This will take you to our customer feedback form on our website. If you got some great ideas, or some parts of Onside you'd like to see improved, let us know so we can get to work on it.

Refresh Properties - If you've just made changes to a property and you want to see them in the app immediately, tap this button to sync the app with our server. This is also quite helpful if you find a property missing from the app.

We also have a sidebar menu specific to a property. When you check-in, the sidebar options will change. You will be able to;

Report risk or Incident - Instead of using the report risk option from the property map, you can do it here.

View the Check-in Rules again - Some properties have key documents in the Check-in Rules or even gate combinations. Get back to the rules from here.

Change the job you checked in to do - Instead of checking out and then checking back in again when you need to change jobs, simply change jobs from the sidebar menu.
