      How do I change or reset a password?

      What to do when you forget your password

      In this day and age it feels like we all have 101 passwords. Many of our users have told us how much easier it would be if they simply didn't need to use a password at all, so that's exactly what we did. You can now log in, password-free.

      Logging into Onside without a password


      Web portal

      If you're using the web portal, simply click 'email me a link'. A one-time login link will be sent to the email address you've entered in the email field.

      From the Onside app, as soon as you tap the next button after entering your email, you'll be sent a SMS link to check-in. However, you'll can also get a link via email, as well as using your password.

      Resetting my password

      If you'd prefer to use the password option instead, but can’t remember your Onside password you can request a password reset email. Here are the steps:

      Reset your password via the web portal

      1. Click here
      2. Enter your email address
      3. Check your email, this can take up to ten minutes. If it doesn’t come through check your junk folder. If it isn’t in the junk folder, click the link again.
      4. Open the email and click on the link. This will redirect you to a web page.
      5. Enter your email and password twice, then save.

      That’s it, open the app and log back in with your new details. 

      The password reset link will only work for the email it was sent to.


      Reset your password via the Onside app

      1. Open the Onside app and tap 'Login'.

      2. Enter your email address and you'll get these options. Tap 'Use Password'.

      3. Tap 'Forgot your password'.

      4. Enter your email address, then tap 'Send reset email'.

      5. You'll then receive an email with the reset link, click the 'here' link.

      6. Then enter your email address and password, and then tap reset.

      Change your password

      If you know your existing password but want to change it to something else, log into your Onside Web Portal. 

      1. Click your intitials or profile image in the top right of the page
      2. Click on 'Profile', then 'Password'
      3. Enter your old password and then enter your new one twice. 
      4. Click Save.

      All done. The next time you go to log into the web or app, use your new password.
